How did you pick your baby furniture?

It seems all the pieces I like you can only buy online. My husband is sort of weird about buying things online that you can't see & feel before hand.

How did you buy your baby furniture & big items? In the stores or online? Were you happy with what you got?

i can understand his hesitation…I'm the same way. BUT i live in a town that for some reason doesn't carry baby furniture in furniture stores…everything is for older children. and any store that DID have cribs and what not…they were HORRIBLE quality.

i went to JCPenny.com and found a cute crib for my daughter (who is 16 months)…it came very quickly, and it wasn't too hard to put together at all. i was able to choose the color i wanted (i went w/antique white) and it is a VERY sturdy crib *and i mean if you shake it it ain't going NO where!*…it also converts to a toddler daybed, and you can use the front and back pieces as a head and foot board later on. it's made of solid wood!
i also bought my change table and dresser from them in the same 'style' as the crib. i am very pleased w/all of them..so much so that when i got pregnant again i bought the same crib for the baby I'm carrying now.
i really like that this crib will convert into a toddler bed, it will last till my kids are at least 5 or 6.
it's a secure website, so i didn't worry at all!
